Security & trust

Voices are personal. We treat them that way.

How we protect customer audio, the people who lend us their voices, and the platform in between.

Your data

Encryption

Audio and transcripts are encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest.

Retention controls

API inputs and outputs are kept for a short operational window, which you can shorten, then deleted.

No training without permission

We don’t train on customer audio unless you explicitly opt in.

Voices & speakers

Consent-verified cloning

A voice is only cloned with the verified consent of its owner, and can be withdrawn.

Pseudonymous datasets

Training recordings are linked to random speaker codes, not names; payment details are stored separately.

Misuse prevention

We review cloning requests and act on reports of impersonation or abuse.

Platform

Access control

Scoped API keys, least-privilege access for staff, and audit logging of sensitive actions.

Responsible disclosure

Found a vulnerability? Email hello@waridi.io and we’ll respond quickly.

Regulation

We intend to handle personal data in line with Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.

Waridi is in early access. We’re building our security programme alongside the product and will publish certifications here only once they’re independently audited.
